FYI ostracized doesn't mean ignored. It means not included in the accepted group.
Thanks though. You tried.

Nofear Alt wrote: Strangely, although that threat was made, they continue to attack and reply to my posts, which doesn't seem to make sense, but just goes to show why people might choose to post as an alt (ie to avoid their inevitable bullying and harassment)
You seem to be taking the summary of our statements and replacing the main ideas with "we will ignore you". Please, if you will, allow me to set it straight.
1) You wont receive any help from us. Any questions that an alt posts are subject to trolling, straight out disinformation, scams, etc.
2) We have been attempting to foster a sort of community here, ranging from tournament style fights, NPSI roams, and coming soon a C&P WH eviction. Be anonymous all you like, but no forum alts are included in the content we provide. Dont care? Thats fine too. In EVE, content is the real currency.
Here is what I am confused about:
You claim to not post with your main because we are "bullies"... but you agree with the majority of the sentiments of this forum. That points down the path of someone who is just trolling to troll.
In that case, 6/10 based on number of bites.

Post with your mainIt's pretty straight forward forum ALT's will be trolled or ignored. Quoting experience you do not have will be trolled etc 2. Don't accuse without evidenceBob will we troll for this. If you wish to make an accusation about another player on our fine forum please make it entertaining and provide evidence of your accusation in a timely manner. We will always take the side of the accused to the point of wardeccing and/or evicting if possible should the evidence be insufficient. We like a good story though so if it's funny enough we may ignore this one 3. Every Evil Deed, false accusation and forum ALT is the work of NitsheRead In-Jokes for more details EtiquettePose questions as questions and not complaints or off handed insults. The people of these forums are some of the most knowledgeable in the fields of nefarious deeds both how to commit and avoid them. Complaints and insults for no reason will have these players targeting you . It's ok to disagree with somebody here. Hell we thrive on conflict. If it ever gets to the point of you wanting to shoot them over it in a fun way call a Thunderdome and let your skills and ship choices settle it. Turning down a Thunderdome will result in you forever being shamed and loss of all standing within these forums. Losing will gain as much respect as winning just with fun penalties imposed If you have experience utilizing an ALT and wish to quote it it's as simple as saying I did this on my ALT (insert name). If you wish the ALT to remain anonymous so must your associated experience or else trolling will ensue. In-JokesThis section will likely need adding to Nitshe is blamed for everything bad. This is mostly because of this thread. Ok entirely because of this thread. Then It just seemed right to blame him for all nefarious deeds since. If somebody else did it they are simply a Nitshe ALT. Leto owes Serendipity a thanny (or a tranny?). This is spread over so many posts I couldn't track down the original but suffice it to say when they get together thanny's and trannys pop up everywhere. Feel free to add your own go stick that up your rectum. The day I follow the "rules" of a Marmiteke comes after the destruction of the universe.
Get out.

So far I've read Feyd's blog & minerbumping.com (only about 60%... lot of damn posts in there) which has been quite an education in itself.
Now I'm gonna search for Thunderdome information to learn more.
Minerbumping is more entertainment value than helpful info. Feyd on the other hand, has terrific info as well as funny posts. Good start.
How long have you been playing?

Much obliged. I'm sure my yet-to-develop skills will be more than easy enough for ya.
The important thing to learn is that your knowledge of the skills you DO have can best someone that does not know how to use their own.

You will enjoy the game so much more than those guys who think bad guys in game are bad people IRL. Our little community here promotes spaceship violence for fun and profit, tears or laughs, stats and efficient killboards, or whatever your fancy. I hope you will stick around. Bring some friends.

I denounce stats and efficient killboards. Having them is nice I guess but aiming for them is bad IMO
I agree. I don't give two ***** about my KDR. Some do, however.

You'll soon find that the so-called "bad guys" are the ones playing to have fun. We like to help others have fun too, so we are typically more than willing to help new folks who ask. Mind you, this may well involve shooting you in the face, but such is EvE. The PVE community thinks we are bad to noobs. Honestly, I think they're bad to noobs. This raises a question. How does the PVP community view players who want to do it all? The heart racing PVP excitement, the serene (mind numbing) calm of mining rocks so one can make rockets to shoot at people, the tedium of running missions to raise standing to get locator agents... Is it all or nothing? Carebear or "bad guy?" Or is it more "play as you like and don't cry about it when someone plays as they like and it conflicts with your desires". I ask because I want to spend my time with like-minded folks, learning to pvp and then doing so, like, a lot. But, I also want to chill and stare at rocks sometimes. Is it acceptable to have a Hardened Industrial Alt in a carebear corp while my main lives a glorious life of pew pew? edit: clarified a question
I have two accounts. One (Leto) is my pvp pilot, the only one I really "play" on. My alts make money doing everything from ratting, exploration, hauling, etc.
To answer your question, not only is it OK, but its a fact of EVE you need to make ISK. Unless you spend RL money on PLEX. As others pointed out, carebears, for the most part, only want to make ISK. Everyone else makes ISK for the purpose of using it to fight with or otherwise create content, and are acceptable with the consequences of undocking.
